Life In Ireland

Life In Ireland

Woke up last night, from the wind outside
Calling your name, like a dead mans cry
I had a dream, about you and me
Living our life, the way it used to be

Those days are gone, like a faded song
Those days are gone, just a memory
But the memory, keeps me awake
Drifting away, on a night like this

Chorus:
It's all gone, it's all here
All the laughter, and all the tears
We walk along, hand in hand
Down by the river, down by the sand
Life in Ireland

I feel the rain, upon my face
Washing away, tears of my shame
I see your smile, fading away
The day I told you, I wouldn't stay

I hear you crying, on the telephone
The night I called, when you were all alone
I still remember, it all so well
The love that we shared, but I could not tell

Chorus:
It's all gone, it's all here
All the laughter, and all the tears
We walk along, hand in hand
Down by the river, down by the sand
It's all gone, it's all here
All the laughter, and all the tears
We walk along, hand in hand
Down by the river, down by the sand
Life in Ireland
